Having previously worked with Ignition CBS on a variety of projects, PPG contacted our team to be the Buzz to its Neil for the launch of its first element of the digital ecosystem, PPG MOONWALK, to ensure it had the lift off it deserved.
PPG created MoonWalk - an automated, self-contained paint mixing system the company refers to as a “giant leap in refinish paint mixing”. Not only does MoonWalk significantly reduce product waste, saves productive labour time and transforms the mixing room into a cleaner and safer environment, it’s also affordable – making it a revolutionary solution for the industry.
After award-winning success with the launch of MoonWalk, PPG Refinish took an even bigger leap to completely transform the refinish customer experience, partner relationships and internal body shop operations. That leap was the creation of PPG LINQ, an end-to-end digital ecosystem for the refinish industry. With this launch PPG DigiMatch, MagicBox, VisualizID and LINQ Color – a mix of hardware and software – joined MoonWalk under the LINQ umbrella.
We worked with the PPG team on most elements of all product launches within LINQ, including online and offline branding such as logos, landing pages/mini-sites, brochures and flyers, adverts, press releases, digital assets, social media, promotional videos and even designs for vans - which eventually travelled across Europe taking the MoonWalk system straight to PPG’s potential clients’ doors.
We ensured there was consistent messaging and branding across all products, connecting them in a way that reflects how the digital ecosystem works in harmony to innovate processes for the Refinish industry and PPG’s customers.
The products in the ecosystem have been recognised globally throughout the industry and have gone on to win awards and, combined with PPG’s leading paint products, the system is helping body shop owners across the world to realise a 15% productivity improvement.
