Each year over 200 leaders from LKQ Europe descend on the automotive aftermarket trailblazer’s visionary 3-day leadership conference to share knowledge, celebrate excellence and plan for the year ahead.
Ignition CBS is no stranger to LKQ events, having previously provided creative design support to LKQ Euro Car Part’s branch manager conferences over the years. Therefore, when LKQ Europe asked for our support with their Leadership Conference with a short-lead time, we were raring to go.
This year’s leadership conference particularly focused on one of LKQ Europe’s top priorities – understanding how they can enhance support for their customers now and in the future. As part of that, alongside the conference sessions, in which we supplied the PowerPoints for each of the speakers presented on a ginormous nine-metre-wide screen, LKQ Europe hosted a reverse trade fair where colleagues were given the opportunity to interact with key functions and suppliers across all European regions. We provided the design for each of the stands involved in this fair, creating a standard template so it all looked cohesive.
As well as developing the visual style for the event, following LKQ brand guidelines, we provided:
- The assets required for LKQ’s event app. The app contained the conference agenda, list of speakers, suppliers, and a digital version of the event programme – all of which were not printed for sustainability reasons
- Foyer and welcome desk design
- Stage design
- Welcome wall (six panels four-metres-wide each)
- Name cards and menus
With the date already set for the event, it was a tight deadline for lots of significant print to get done - requiring plenty of time management to get it all to print on time. The event was an incredible success, and our client was very happy – meaning the Ignition CBS team could pat our little ol’ selves on the back.
